AUTOMATED SYSTEM SPECIALIST

This position is responsible for correcting faults in the warehouse automated equipment to ensure proper functioning.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS / PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Proactively monitor and correct known issues in a timely manner. Troubleshoot mechanical issues in warehouse equipment. Correct faults and perform minor maintenance tasks. Report software and hardware malfunctions to the appropriate team. Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

Have High School Diploma or GED. 1 years of experience working with computer systems preferred. Be 18 years of age or older. Thorough knowledge of computer functions and strong computer operation skills. Work well with others. Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision. Possess strong communication and time management skills. Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment. Willing to work nights and/or weekends.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

This position requires the teammate to stand for long periods of time at a computer monitor. The environment encompasses all areas of a Distribution Center and material movement takes place throughout the facility. This position requires the teammate to work inside majority of the time. This position may require working in hot and cold temperature extremes, exposure to dust, dirt, fumes, noise, potentially harmful chemicals, solvents and components, and working in close to proximity to other teammates. Closed-toe shoes must be worn at all times. This position requires the teammate to work in warm and cold temperature conditions that may range from 38°F to 110°F. This position requires the teammate to stand, walk, bend, stoop, push, pull, grasp and reach above the head continuously for a period of two hours or more. This position requires the teammate to walk up and down stair.
