Automation Analyst, Power Platform

Job description: 

As an Analyst – Power Platform at Stryker, you will manage and optimize the administration of Stryker's Power Platform environment. This strategic role requires a deep understanding of Microsoft Power Platform technologies, including Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI, to establish standards, practices, and governance policies that ensure compliance and operational efficiency. You will lead efforts to monitor, audit, and remediate non-compliant applications and flows, providing technical expertise and guidance to support the organization’s digital transformation initiatives. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and streamline business processes through scalable, secure solutions.

What you will do: 

Platform Administration and Management: Administer and manage Stryker's Power Platform environment, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI, to ensure optimal configuration, availability, and alignment with business needs and best practices across both dev, test and production environments.

Governance and Compliance: Establish and enforce governance policies, standards, and best practices for the development and deployment of Power Platform solutions. Ensure all solutions comply with internal policies and external regulatory requirements.

Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor the performance and usage of Power Platform solutions, identifying areas for optimization to maintain compliance and align with organizational standards.

Security and Risk Management: Implement and maintain governance policies to secure the Power Platform environment, proactively identifying and addressing non-compliant applications and flows. Administer security roles and permissions while conducting regular audits to ensure ongoing compliance with established policies.

Stakeholder Collaboration and Solution Delivery: Collaborate with various departments to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions using the Power Platform, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

User Training and Support: Deliver comprehensive training sessions and support for users and developers, enhancing their capabilities and knowledge in utilizing the Power Platform effectively.

Continuous Improvement and Innovation: Stay current with the latest developments and features of the Power Platform. Propose and implement improvements to existing solutions based on emerging capabilities and business requirements.

Audit and Compliance Management: Conduct regular audits and compliance reviews of Power Platform solutions to identify and address any discrepancies, ensuring secure and efficient operations.

What you need:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

2+ years of experience in Information Technology

Extensive experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.

Strong understanding of governance, compliance, and security best practices for the Power Platform.

Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues quickly.

Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Certifications in Microsoft Power Platform or similar technologies are highly regarded.

Fluent in spoken and written English. Any other language is a plus.
