The Automation Analyst is responsible for streamlining and automating business processes across various service lines within the organization. This includes designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining automation solutions using advanced technologies such as RPA (Robotic Process Automation), Power Apps, SAP Build, and Python scripting.
The role is critical in driving digital transformation, enabling operational efficiency, and preparing the organization for future technological advancements. The successful candidate will anticipate trends, identify strategic automation opportunities, and deliver scalable solutions aligned with organizational goals.
Key Outputs and Accountabilities
1. Process Analysis and Solution Design
Analyse business processes.Design scalable, reliable, and future-ready automation solutions that align with business objectives.2. Development and Implementation
Build, test, and deploy automation solutions using various tools such as Power Automate, Power Apps, SAP Build, and Python scripting (UiPath, Automation Anywhere & Blue Prism expertise also advantageous).Integrate automation solutions with existing systems and workflows for seamless operation.3. Maintenance and Support
Provide ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, and performance optimization for deployed automation solutions.Ensure solutions remain scalable, secure, and aligned with organizational needs.4. Collaboration and Stakeholder Engagement
Work closely with business units, IT teams, and external vendors to gather requirements and deliver updates.Support change management efforts by training stakeholders and ensuring adoption of automation solutions.5. Documentation and Knowledge Sharing
Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, user guides, troubleshooting manuals, and training materials.6. Strategic Vision and Technology Monitoring
Stay updated on the latest automation technologies, including AI (eg AI Agents), machine learning, and cloud automation.Evaluate new tools and recommend their adoption to enhance automation capabilities.Support change management efforts by training stakeholders and ensuring adoption of automation solutions.QualificationsDiploma, B-Tech, Degree in
