EDUCATIONAL RECOMMENDATIONS

Currently a candidate for a Master’s, Bachelor's degree, or Diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field with an accredited school in Canada.  

You have experience/knowledge in several of the following areas:

Good understanding of Git, Python, SHELL scripting, Docker, KubernetesConfiguration and managing databases such as MongoExcellent troubleshooting skillsWorking knowledge of various tools, open-source technologies, and cloud servicesAwareness of critical concepts in DevOps principlesGood verbal and written communication skillsExperience working on Linux-based infrastructureKnowledge on writing Jenkins scripted and Declarative pipelinesKnowledge on GitOps and IaC (Infrastructure as Code)Knowledge or experience with Groovy programming languageKnowledge or experience with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, NPM, etc.Knowledge of Monitoring and Logging tools/solutions Working with Gitlab Pipelines

Implement various development, testing, automation tools, and IT infrastructureDefine and set development, testing, release, update, and support processes for DevOps operationHave the technical skills to review, verify, and validate the software code developed in the projectIdentify and deploy cybersecurity measures by continuously performing vulnerability assessment and risk managementTroubleshoot and fix coding bugsMonitor processes during their entire lifecycle for adherence and updating or creating new processes for improvement.Encourage and build automated processes wherever possibleCoordinate and communicate within the teamSelect and deploy appropriate CI/CD toolsBuild continuous integration, continuous development, and constant deployment pipelines (CI/CD Pipeline)Actively learn new languages, technologies, and domains while sharing knowledge with the team.Research and evaluate software for Network AutomationCreate Docker images and Helm charts to run on Kubernetes
