**Project Background & Overview**
We are looking for talented individual to help us create the **Digital Factory** of the future. RDT team creates new manufacturing technology for SPARK clear aligner systems. As part of the new technology, we have developed an automated manufacturing cell with Fanuc Robots and Allen Bradley PLC/HMI for the mass customization of clear aligner’s digital manufacturing workflow. The Automation/Controls Intern will be working on this cell to reduce waste and improve OEE (Overall Equipment effectiveness). If you like to work on Custom Software, Hardware, Robots, Conveyors, PLC, HMI, come join us!! We are expecting to have this role begin in February as part-time and then move to full-time during school breaks.
**Objectives**
+ Develop and establish OEE using PLC/HMI Monitor faults and modify PLC/HMI to eliminate faults.
+ Develop Automated Faulty recovery system.
+ Modify equipment for future requirements.
+ Improve OEE of the equipment to meet world class standards.
**Project Scope**
Support RDT activities for automation of Spark Clear Aligner System manufacturing.
**Deliverables**
Achieve Target Cycle time for the cell.
**Job Requirements:**
+ Graduate or undergraduate student currently enrolled in University obtaining a degree in a Mechanical or Electrical program.

The total compensation package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, medical/dental/vision benefits, 401K match, and/or other applicable compensation plans.
