Job Description
The Automation Engineer will play a vital role in integrating, automating, and troubleshooting systems for various clients. This position involves modifying code in Rockwell and creating systems, while also assisting projects from inception to completion. Typically, the engineer will work on one project at a time, although there may be occasions when two or three projects are tackled concurrently in a short time frame.
ResponsibilitiesInterface with clients during design meetings and conference calls.Collaborate with the project team, leading less experienced engineers and following directions from the project manager or lead engineer.Program controllers using Rockwell and Siemens technologies.Design electrical control cabinets and panels.Test system configurations to verify functionality.Travel to client sites for project meetings.Travel to client sites for system commissioning.Essential SkillsProficiency in automation and PLCs.Experience with Rockwell and Siemens control systems.Strong skills in controls engineering.Electrical design capabilities, including panel wiring and panel design.2-8 years of relevant experience.Minimum of 2 years working experience demonstrating proficiency with Rockwell platforms.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering.Willingness to travel up to 25%.Work Environment
The work environment includes a clean office space, with occasional opportunities to see products come to life in a manufacturing setting.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $100000.00 - $125000.00/yr.
