Responsibilities:

Design and develop automated test scripts and frameworks for various software applications. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test requirements and create detailed test plans. Leads the defect management process by identifying, logging, and tracking defects; conducts root cause analysis for critical issues and implements preventive measures to reduce future defects Ensures that non-functional testing (e.g., performance, security) is planned and executed, and that test data and environments are available and stable, to validate system performance and security under expected loads Manages the integration of automated testing and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines, working with DevOps teams to embed continuous testing so that code changes are validated automatically in the delivery process Defines and monitors key quality metrics (e.g.. test coverage, defect leakage, test cycle time) and regularly reports testing status to stakeholders. Uses insights from metrics to drive continual improvements in testing processes and tooling Promotes a culture of quality by influencing teams to adhere to testing standards and best practices, providing mentorship and technical guidance to junior Quality Engineers, and championing quality initiatives across the organization
