Job Description Currently, SRE is dispersed around the company in various development teams, so this teams charter is to help create standards across SRE, pull data, define metrics, identify trends, and chase big enterprise problems within SRE. The goal is to be proactive during development versus reactive in production. The team is working on defining SLAs, SLOs, error budgets, and standardizing CI/CD pipelines for the entire IT organization. They are pulling data to see how well production systems are tuned. The goal is to build advanced reporting systems and tools to monitor and predict systems performance and identity opportunities for automation and standardization. We are looking for a Software Engineer that is well versed in problem solving, has a passion for improvement and innovation through automation with an operational mindset. Skills and Requirements 5+ years of experience applying engineering principles to design, develop and test and maintain software systems. Experience working around containerized applications, specifically hands on experience within Kubernetes. Experience within system automation, working with continuous integration tools such as Gitlab. Expertise in automation, specifically within Ansible. Drive to create resilient, available systems and scalable systems.
