Our client, a leader in automation solutions, is seeking an Automation Engineer to join their team. As an Automation Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various technical teams. The ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication abilities, and a problem-solving mindset which will align successfully in the organization. **Job Title:** Automation Engineer **Location: East Dorset, VT** **Pay Range:** **What's the Job?** + Represent panel layouts, schematics, and wire run lists using CAD systems and documentation such as bills of materials, specifications, and instruction sheets. + Support the Sales team to determine technical requirements for machine automation and controls as they relate to parts handling, printer, and tooling movement coordination. + Work with subcontractors and vendors to understand specialty parts and their applications. + Actively participate in product design reviews and collaborate with the engineering staff to develop cost-effective solutions. + Ensure that all relevant data is collected, reviewed, and filed for all projects in accordance with standard procedures. **What's Needed?** + Associate degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent plus 2 to 5 years of experience, hands-on experience preferred, willing to train. + Knowledge of printing systems is a plus (Pad Printing or Digital Ink Jet). + Familiarity with multiple control platforms (PLC, HMI) such as Automation Direct, Allen Bradley, and Panasonic. + Strong knowledge of multiple programming languages (Ladder, Structured Text). + Strong understanding of safety circuits and components. **What's in it for me?** + Opportunity to work on innovative projects in a dynamic environment. + Collaborate with a talented team of professionals dedicated to excellence. + Gain hands-on experience and training in advanced automation technologies. + Contribute to meaningful projects that impact the industry. + Be part of a culture that values safety and compliance with regulations.
