Automation Engineer

Join our innovative team as a skilled Automation Engineer and be at the forefront of designing, developing, and implementing cutting-edge automation solutions to enhance our manufacturing processes. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will drive continuous improvement and innovation within our production facility.

This is a permanent full-time position.

 

You will:

Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to enhance manufacturing processes.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for automation and process improvement.Ensure that automation systems are efficient, reliable, and meet quality standards.Proactively troubleshoot and resolve automation system issues to minimize downtime.Conduct regular maintenance and updates to automation systems to ensure optimal performance.Provide technical support and training to team members on the use of automation systems.Keep abreast of cutting-edge automation technology and industry best practices.Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to drive innovation and efficiency within the production facility.

Ideally, you will have:

Possess a relevant qualification in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field that fuels your passion for automation solutions.At least 3 years of experience in designing and implementing automation solutions in a manufacturing environment.Strong technical skills in automation systems, including PLC programming, HMI development, and SCADA systems.Experience with robotics and industrial control systems is highly desirable.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex automation issues.Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.A proactive and innovative mindset with a passion for continuous improvement.Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to automation systems.Computer literacy in relevant software and tools.
