Role Overview:

As an Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts for web applications, APIs, and backend systems. You will work closely with
the development and QA teams to ensure software reliability, scalability, and performance across multiple platforms.
Responsibilities:
\n\nDesign, develop, and execute automated test scripts using Java, Selenium, and relevant frameworks for web and backend applications. \nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to define test scenarios, test cases, and acceptance criteria. Identify and report bugs and technical issues, working closely with developers to ensure resolution.\nMaintain and enhance existing test automation frameworks and infrastructure.\nConduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve test scripts and automation practices.\nIntegrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI to ensure continuous integration and deployment.\nGenerate detailed test reports and provide insights to stakeholders on application quality and stability.\nWork with RESTful API testing using tools like Postman, RestAssured, or similar frameworks.\nTroubleshoot and debug issues, ensuring timely resolution of defects.\nStay up to date with the latest trends and best practices in QA automation and software testing.\nRequirements: -
\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. \n3+ years of experience in test automation, with a strong background in web and backend automation.\nProficiency in Java and test automation frameworks like Selenium, TestNG, and JUnit.\nExperience in API testing using Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools.\nKnowledge of Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) tools such as Cucumber for writing test scenarios in human-readable format.\nExperience with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar.\nFamiliarity with Docker for managing test environments.\nProficiency in version control systems such as Git for managing source code. \nUnderstanding of Agile development methodologies and best testing practices. \nStrong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot test failures efficiently.\nExcellent communication and collaboration skills\nGilbarco Veeder-Root comprises of leading brands of solutions and technologies that provide convenience, control and environmental integrity for fuel retailing.
