About this opportunity:
The Automation Engineer (LDA) is responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues with SDAP tools in live automation environments. They analyze issues raised by service monitoring teams and implement fixes. The LDA oversees NOC administration tasks within ITSM, including the approval of foundation data updates. They support the management of customer data inventories at EAI tool and assist automation developers and LCM teams in configuring and managing automation processes through the OneFM tool.
What you will do:
SDAP tools are likely used to automate service management processes. The LDA will diagnose and resolve issues related to these automation tools in a live environment.The LDA will work closely with service monitoring teams to analyse and resolve issues that impact live automation operations.Responsible for NOC-Admin based tasks related to ITSM tools. This includes managing tickets, incidents, requests, user accounts and approvals in the ITSM system.The LDA has the authority to approve updates in ITSM’s foundation data that includes configuration items (CIs), assets, and other critical data used in service management processes.The LDA will be responsible to manage EAI tool for data inventory that could involve tracking customer-related data, service configurations, or infrastructure details.Assisting automation developers and internal LCM teams in enabling or disabling automations, which may require configurations in tools like OneFM.The LDA will configure the network alarms in OneFM tool ensuring that the automation processes align with customer requirements.The LDA will be responsible for creating and maintaining dashboards in OneFM, which provide key insights and metrics to service monitoring teams, especially for network handling.LDA will ensure timely communication of changes or new factors impacting data systems or automation applications to all relevant stakeholders.
The skills you bring:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in ECE, IT, CS or MCA.Minimum years of relevant experience: 2 to 5 years.Strong knowledge of automation tools, troubleshooting methodologies.Must be aware of SDAP tools (EAI, OneFM Dashboards & Configuration Manager, WFM, ITSM).Understanding complex service workflows and how they impact network and automation processes.Ability to quickly identify the root cause of issues and implement fixes.Close interaction with developers, LCM teams, and monitoring teams.Handling and updating large datasets, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems.He / She must have good knowledge of programming language like SQL, Linux.Query data in database using SQL to retrieve inventory information.Utilize basic Linux commands for system-level data management and automation tasks related to inventory processing.Working experience in handling datasets, creating dashboards in MS Excel.Power BI, Tableau and MS tools will be added advantage.Good to have knowledge and skills on SQL and Linux.Good solid understanding of service monitoring, network alarms.Basic familiarity with mobile telecommunication networks, their architecture and mechanisms would be an added advantage.In-depth understanding of SDAP and other relevant automation platforms/tools.
