We are looking for a new colleague in the Process Engineering department at our location in Lommel.
 
Your tasks as Automation Engineer (m/f/d): 

As a member of the global process engineering team, you will be the key contact for automation projects You are responsible to develop our automation roadmap and set the standard in alignment with the relevant stakeholders As a project owner you are the responsible single point of contact to execute the roadmap ahead  A flawless launch in the designated plant, supporting on site is your true north You will take lead in defining opportunities for improvement from a business process point of view and drive them to implementation

 

Your profile as Automation Engineer (m/f/d):

You have a degree in (electro-mechanical/automation) engineering plus solid knowledge of automation building blocks, weather it is robotics, vision, controllers or others You are methodical and uphold a clear, transparent and structured project management methodology Success is based on team consensus. Driving a project and a team proactively in a matrix organization is your second nature You are a strong communicator to all levels of the organization and with suppliers and integrators and can operate in a high level report out meeting as well as on the shop floor with operators and engineers getting things done You measure your success rate on metrics achieved
