U.S. Bank is seeking a full-time Automation Engineer - Salesforce (Multiple openings) in Irving, TX.
Essential Responsibilities:
Develop test strategies, plans, and scripts for web test and API test automation during entire software development process in agile and SaaS environments.Create and maintain Behavior Driven Development (BDD) framework for automating User Interface (UI).Perform system integration and regression testing for various Salesforce platforms.Build UI automation framework and create test suites for Salesforce testing and API integration.Test web-based applications or Restful APIs in SaaS environments.Write applications features using Cucumber Gherkin format and implement them using Java.Perform root cause analysis of bug reports from internal and external stakeholders.Create Quality Assurance (QA) processes and work on all aspects of QA testing, including system (functional and non-functional), integration, regression, smoke, exploratory, performance, data verification and acceptance testing.Streamline and improve testing life cycle to ensure test planning, execution, and reporting are effective and coordinated.Uses the following tools and technologies: Salesforce, Java, Restful API, SQL, Selenium WebDriver, Selenium Grid, Cucumber Gherkin, Maven, Jenkins, Allure, Extent, Rest Assured IO, Git, JIRA, Postman, Bash/Shell Scripting, Behavior Driven Development (BDD), Test-Driven Development (TDD) framework, HTML, and CSS.Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering or Computer Information Systems (will accept a 3- or 4-year degree) and 5 years (progressive, postbaccalaureate) software test automation experience in automation testing and automation framework development.
Required Skills/Experience:
Must also have 60 months of experience with each of the following: 1) Create reusable automated test components for websites using Selenium WebDriver with Java, Cucumber and Selenium Grid. 2) Create and maintain Behavior Driven Development (BDD) and Test-Driven Development (TDD) framework for automating Web User Interface (UI) and APIs. 3) Perform functional, system, integration and regression testing for APIs using Rest Assured IO and Postman. 4) Use Jenkins for scheduling automated test runs. 5) Use Allure and Extent Report plugins to generate test results in HTML format. Employer will accept experience gained concurrently.
