The Automation Engineer Sr is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying advanced Intelligent Automation and AI solutions. The Engineer will partner with other technology professionals and business users to deliver valuable outcomes, solutions, and advancements to meet the business plan. This position is expected to provide technical and thought leadership, and mentor junior level technology professionals. 

Responsibilities:

Collaborate within the Automation center of excellence, following Robotic Process Automation (RPA) best practices and preparing for AI advancementsLead the development and implementation of UiPath automation solutionsProvide technical and thought leadership to Technology and business leaders  Remain current and updated on automation technology trendsPartner with business SMEs, Analysts, and Process Architects to identify optimization and automation opportunities within the businessProvide direction and oversight to offshore teams ensuring project alignmentMaintain high-quality, scalable RPA automations and AI solutionsOffer production support by troubleshooting issues efficiently and effectively Mentor junior developers and foster a collaborative environmentPromote and utilize agile principles within the teamEnsure compliance with coding, testing, and deployment best practicesAppropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, include but not limited to compliance and operational risk. Demonstrate consideration for Cenlar’s reputation as well as our clients, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience10+ years of technology experience, preferably in financial services7+ years’ experience of automation/workflowExpertise in developing UiPath automation solutionsProficient understanding of AI engineering concepts, including LLMs and machine learningExcellent communication and understanding of banking processesExperience with SQL, .NET or Java, APIs, HTML, XML, JSON, Azure DevOps, CloudAbility to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to analyze business processesAdvanced production support skillsExperience mentoring Developers and directing offshore teamsProven track record in Agile principles, DevOps, and SDLC methodologiesStrong commitment to continuous process improvementAdherence to industry best practices in coding, testing, and deployment
