Job Description
As a Service Technician you will be responsible for providing preventive maintenance and repairs of MiTek machinery, in addition to providing training for customers on proper operations, maintenance, and repair of MiTek machinery.Job Responsibilities & Requirements
Provide customers with operation and maintenance trainingPerform regular inspections and maintenance of MiTek machinery to ensure proper functioning and identify any potential issues.Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, and electrical problems and provide timely repairs or replacements as needed.Conduct preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication, cleaning, and calibration of equipment, to minimize breakdowns and optimize performance.Follow safety protocols and adhere to applicable regulations while performing maintenance activities to ensure a safe working environment.Demonstrate proficiency in reading and comprehending all MiTek machinery manuals.Maintain a high level of availability for travel, up to 75% of the time, to fulfill job requirements.Stay well-informed about schedules, pro-actively arrange travel logistics, and promptly communicate travel plans to customers.Engage in comprehensive discussions with customers to thoroughly understand service call requirements prior to initiating any work.Promptly complete and submit accurate service call reports and sign-off sheets within 5 business days upon completing each trip.
