About the Role: Grade Level (for internal use): 09 S&P Global Commodity Insights The Role: Automation Expert About the Role: As an Automation Expert, you will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and implementing automation and AI solutions using out-of-the-box software, primarily Alteryx, Power Platform, and Spark (internal Copilot / GPT). Your focus will be on optimizing existing processes and exploring new platforms and software that have the potential to add value through process optimization. You will also create proof of concept plans for these new technologies. Responsibilities and Impact: We are seeking a proactive and adept Automation Expert to lead transformative projects. You will be instrumental in boosting operational efficiency and orchestrating the simplification of intricate business processes throughout multiple departments. Key Responsibilities: Design, Develop, and Implement Solutions: Create and implement solutions to process optimization requirements using available out-of-the-box tools like Alteryx, Power Platform, and Spark (internal Copilot / GPT). Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring that designed and developed solutions address these needs effectively. Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders to ensure alignment and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all solutions, including design specifications, user guides, and training materials. Continuous Improvement: Stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in automation and AI to continuously improve and innovate solutions. Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with solution implementation, ensuring compliance with organizational standards and policies. What We’re Looking For: Basic Required Qualifications: Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in developing automation solutions using Alteryx, Power Automate, Power Apps, API integration, AI CoPilot, Jira or or similar technologies. (Highly preferred. Data Analytics: Prior experience with complex data analysis, data mining, data wrangling, and visualization using PowerBI. Experience in working with databases is highly preferred. Solution Design: Proficient in understanding business needs and requirements, translating them into technical specifications, and recommending appropriate technology solutions. Agile Methodology: Solid understanding of Agile Scrum principles and hands-on experience in developing solutions within an Agile framework. ·Interpersonal Skills: Exceptional communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills. Capable of articulating complex technical concepts to business stakeholders and collaborating effectively with project team members and stakeholders in a global environment. Additional Preferred Qualifications: CRM and Marketing Automation: Prior experience in projects involving Salesforce, Zuora and Marketo is highly desirable. Lean Methodology: Understanding of Lean principles and methodologies. Content Writing and Presentation: Experience in presenting solutions to leadership teams and publishing newsletters is advantageous.
