The Job Details: The Automation Implementation Specialist is an exciting role binding a cross-functional team to ensure quality delivery and implementation of Integrated Automation solutions. This position acts as a liaison among Automation Vendors, USCS Operations and Product/Engineering teams to ensure automation equipment and software meet the requirements of the solution. This includes overseeing and executing integration testing with vendors onsite to ensure successful implementation of these custom solutions.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Participating in requirements and solution design meetings. Document standard processes within vendor software. Assist with onsite testing milestones and eWM functions as it relates to automation. Provide training to warehouse staff on the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of automation systems. Share knowledge and best practices to empower users to maximize the benefits of automation technology. Execute integrated test scenarios on site ensuring project requirements are met. Coordinate, oversee and participate in testing phases as the project ramps up for system Go Lives. Works closely with Vendor and internal Operations, to ensure smooth implementations of new functions/features. Responsible for recording, investigating, prioritizing and tracking issues (both Vendor and Internal) discovered during acceptance testing phases (Host/Vendor Messaging, Functional Acceptance, User Acceptance). Will travel to implementation sites during critical start-up phases and when required to help trouble-shoot implementation challenges. Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs) and troubleshooting guides. Keep documentation up to date with any changes or enhancements to automation systems.The Job Specifics:

Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Preferred Discipline: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering.Experience
2-4 years of industry experience. Experience testing of integrated WMS systems with automation (ASRS, AGVs, Conveyors, Sorters, etc.) Experience working with Electro-Mechanical systems. Prior experience with Scrum / Agile methodologies a plus. Logistics / Supply Chain / Warehouse operations knowledge a plus. Prior experience supervising, managing a small staff. MS Office experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Experience using JIRA and Confluence. Experience with SQL, Postman, XML, JSON, TestRail. Effective written and oral communication, ability to analyze and solve problems. Excellent computer skills. Independent, accountable and organized. Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks.Other Abilities You Will Need to Have:
Work longer hours as needed. Understand and follow verbal instruction, written instruction and company policies. A starter that can work independently and coordinate with others. Ability to manage stress and productivity guidelines.The Standard Details:
