Job Title:    Automation IT Manager

Job Summary:   EMCOR Mechanical Services (EMS) has an opportunity for an Automation IT Manager.  This position can be performed remotely from any location in the US. The Automation IT Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining IT systems that support our building automation solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems are secure, reliable, and scalable and work with customers to troubleshoot issues and provide technical support.

 

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Support IT systems to support building automation solutions Ensure IT systems meet security, compliance, and regulatory requirements. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software developers, engineers, and project managers, to design and implement integrated solutions. Develop and maintain documentation, including system diagrams, user manuals, and support guides. To liaison between IT and Automation / Applied technicians, locating difficulties and finding solutions

 

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field 5+ years of experience in IT systems design, implementation, and maintenance Expertise in networking, servers, and databases Knowledge of building automation systems and protocols, including BACnet, Modbus, and Lon Works Experience with cybersecurity best practices, including firewalls, intrusion detection, and data encryption. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and collaboration skills Must be willing and able to travel up to 30% or the time

Compensation Range:   $90,000 - $120,000

Other Compensation:  NA
