Job Summary:
This is a Technical Program Manager role within the Surface Handling Autonomy and Remote-Control group focusing on the development of semi-autonomous tractor systems (SATS) and remote control for LTTTs. This role is a combination of technical team leadership, Program management, and individual contributor activities that utilize their own technical expertise. This role will coordinate a 3-person team on the development, integration and/or troubleshooting of SATS and remote-control (RC) systems for LTTTs.
This position will also use their technical skills as needed to support SATS and/or RC design work, subsystem testing and system integration. It may require specific knowledge of machine systems inner-actions, line of sight and non-line of sight technologies, and functional safety and compliance related to SATS or RC systems. It will require a strong quality focus project leadership skills and significant interaction with process partners and product customers. What You Will Do:
Daily collaboration with cross functional teams, Shareholders, development teams, and management on project scope, requirements, expenses, and budget.Daily coordination with a 3-person team on the development, integration and/or troubleshooting of SATS and remote-control (RC) systems for LTTTs.Support SATS and/or RC design work, software development, subsystem testing and system integration.Education requirement:
Bachelor’s degree in an accredited Engineering or Computer Science curriculum

Summary Pay Range:
$144,960.00 - $235,440.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
