Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Industrial Robotic Systems Programmer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role involves programming, installing, and debugging advanced robotic systems. The ideal candidate is a confident self-starter with strong robotic programming skills and the ability to travel locally and internationally on short notice.
ResponsibilitiesProgram, install, and debug industrial robotic systems such as ABB, KUKA, and Motoman.Work with PLC programming and logic programming (And, If, Or, Loops).Develop and implement robotic solutions for projects such as 3D Waterjet Cutting, Multi-Axis Milling, Robotic Welding, Custom Automation Solutions, and Plasma Cutting.Think and operate effectively in 3D space.Utilize basic mechanical skills including welding and assembly.Independently troubleshoot and resolve robotic system issues.Train customers on robotic system operation and ensure effective communication.Travel as required to customer sites in Canada and internationally.Essential SkillsMinimum 5 years of experience with programming, installing, and debugging industrial robotic systems (ABB, KUKA, Motoman).Familiarity with PLC programming.Strong understanding of logic programming (And, If, Or, Loops).Automation experience.Valid driver's license with the ability to travel locally and internationally on short notice.Additional Skills & QualificationsBasic mechanical understanding, including welding and assembly.Knowledge of CAD CAM software such as Mastercam, Inventor.Ability to think in 3D space.Experience with Fanuc, Nachi, and other robotic systems.Experience with CNC programming and machining.Work Environment
This position is fully onsite at our Stoney Creek location, with occasional travel to customer sites as needed (both within Canada and internationally). The work environment is friendly and cooperative, with the opportunity to work alongside co-op students and be part of a growing engineering team. The role offers a chance to grow within the company while working on cutting-edge projects involving advanced automation and robotic solutions.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $45.00/hr.
