Reporting to the Automation Engineer Manager working as part of the equipment group, the engineer will be responsible for tasks related to procurement, programming, commissioning, and testing of Automated Equipment and cells through to delivery for commercial use. This will include debugging of code on PLCs, Robotics, Drives, Vision systems, and testing, to ensure equipment functioning as per user requirements. The role will require a strong proven record in controls system support. This is a hands-on role where technical guidance and management of debug actions will have to be provided to engineers/technicians across multiple departments during handover phase.
Job Responsibilities Ensure that newly built systems are sufficiently tested and technical snag lists generated prior to validation activity Management of identified snags to ensure timely closeout of actions Liaise between Manufacturing and Automation Engineering to ensure that equipment requirements are clearly defined and agreed upon Generation of validation documentation as required for equipment IQ and OQ activities Execution of equipment IQ and OQ Transfer to production including technical training for Manufacturing/Process Engineering Ensure that complete and effective validations are carried out on all processes before transferring to manufacture/modified. Maintain high quality / compliance standards in line with Medical Devices manufacturing requirements within Creganna TE Medical Ensure goals and objectives are met and understood by effective communication, building an atmosphere of openness, honesty and flexibility with individuals and within the team environment. Ensure that all Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are fulfilled Researching solutions to existing process problems Ensure adherence to Creganna TE Medical Quality Management System in line with principles of ISO 13485 What your background should look like: Engineering degree, or equivalent qualification, preferably with 7yrs + experience. Strong interpersonal skills – capable of communicating with a multi-departmental team to communicate & resolve technical issues Strong technical background - Capable of identifying Mechanical Vs Electrical/Controls issues and communicating issues to team clearly Project management experience desirable Motivated to work on own initiative and the ability to make and implement decisions. Knowledge of ISO and FDA compliance with emphasis on validation. Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills. A demonstrated ability to solve problems with innovative and cost effective solutions. Excellent working knowledge of equipment and process validation#jobsEMEANR
