Job Title: Automation Technician, Junior (Paint)
Under direct supervision, assist with operations and duties in production. Monitor equipment performance and adjust set-ups, calibrations, and alignments on production equipment. Call specialists when more serious problems occur. Track various data associated with production equipment. Report any inconsistencies and use standard repair procedures.
Performance Expectations
Monitor equipment (including documentation, recording spec. qualifications): Wash system Fluid delivery equipment Wash-bay and Steamer room Kitchen Rework Product Quality – Paint finish Waste Water Treatment – Titrate chemistry Post Department Customer Satisfaction Scheduled Activity Equipment Maintenance Monitor product consumption (chemicals, paints, consumables, etc.) Preventative maintenance Emergency minor maintenance (i.e. Gun replacements, etc.) Engineering trials Equipment troubleshooting Assist in training of new painters (in booth – practical) Must be flexible for all shifts and work overtime. Have a minimum of Grade 12 education or equivalent
