Job Title: Automation TechnicianJob Description The Automation Technician will handle service calls a few times a month to repair robots and support installations. Installations can take up to a week, with the farthest client located in Minnesota, requiring overnight stays. Service calls are within 4 hours of the facility and are typically day trips. When not on calls or installations, the technician will work at the shop wiring, assembling, starting up, debugging robots, and disassembling and packing them for shipment. During installations, the technician will follow the truck to the client site, unpack and assemble equipment, and support wiring, debugging, and verification to ensure proper functionality. The technician will have access to two work vehicles or can use their own vehicle, with eligibility for per-diem and reimbursement for food and hotel.
