Job Description
As a Factory Specialist, you will be responsible for reading and comprehending electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic prints and schematics to perform troubleshooting and repairs of these systems. You will collaborate with Engineering to help implement new procedures and processes.
ResponsibilitiesPerform troubleshooting and repairs of electrical, electronic, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Work hand in hand with Engineering to help implement new procedures and processes.Collaborate with Quality Control and manufacturing personnel to ensure processes and equipment meet or exceed Quality Control and Engineering standards.Monitor new processes, including new equipment and tools, to ensure performance specifications are met before releasing to production.Implement improvement projects and ensure on-time performance.Assure adherence to good housekeeping and safety practices.Present findings to local and regional management and provide written documentation and reports as requested.Perform any other duties as assigned.Essential SkillsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Two-year industrial electronic course from a reputable school.Five years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.Strong communication skills (verbal and written).Understanding of PLC, PLC programming, electrical, plumbing, air conditioning, heating, robotics, and electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Analytical and problem-solving skills.Understanding of Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.Understanding of AutoCAD and/or SolidWorks.Proficient in Microsoft Office: Word, Excel & PowerPoint.Ability to train and present in front of groups.Additional Skills & QualificationsGraduate of an accredited electrical apprenticeship program (preferred).Knowledgeable and experienced with all aspects of local and national electrical codes and standard practices.Journeyman or master electrician license.Why Work Here?

Work Environment
The work environment is a mix of factory and manufacturing settings with both newer and older equipment. You should be comfortable working in various conditions and with a range of technologies. The role involves standing, walking, using hands, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Safety and cleanliness are prioritized to maintain a productive and secure workspace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $59759.00 - $82118.00
