Responsibilities

Summary:                 

 

Perform all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance as set forth in machine manuals and by company policy pertaining to automated equipment

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.  Other duties may be assigned.

 

Set up automation equipment for each mold/automation equipment combination, as required.Support production floor(s) by answering emergency equipment down requests, including gathering information as needed from equipment operators in a professional manner.Design and manufacture equipment product control devices.Rebuild equipment prime moving hardware as required.Preventative maintenance on all automation equipment.Perform job requirements in safe and professional manner.Complete Lockout Tagout trainingForklift training requiredKeep the entire areas of responsibility clean, including the machines and floor.Understands Importance of Food Safety, ISO and Plant Safety Policies Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

 

High school diploma or general education degree (GED), and three to five years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Language Skills:

 

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. 

 

Mathematical Skills:

 

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide using whole numbers and decimals.

 

Reasoning Ability:

 

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.  Ability to deal with problems involving several variables.
