Automation Technician - D Shift

The Automation team is responsible for the development, diagnostics, and maintenance of all automated packing equipment and robotics. Automation team maintains safety, improves production efficiencies and product quality

Job Description – Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Handle and operate any machinery, tools or equipment used safely while performing job duties.Must be able to read and understand blueprints Mechanical and ElectricalMust be able to work with electrical power from 24v to 480vMust be able to adjust sensors or know how to configure sensorsSet up & debug new automation as neededMaintain, troubleshoot and repair various packing, automation and mold equipmentDevelop, install, and program automation and roboticsDevelop, install and validate vision systemsAssist with the integration, startup and debugging of plant floor equipmentMaintain clean work environment

Work Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.  Employee could be exposed to seasonal weather conditions if required to go outdoors.  Proper use of PPE is required at all times.

Preferred Education/Experience:

Automation Technician Certification1+ years Mechanical/Electrical backgroundExperience with basic electrical circuits a plusPLC Programming
