WTW provides insurance consulting services to insurers, which leverages a suite of software and technology solutions operated by actuarial, financial reporting and business support teams. The increased reliance and focus on technology in delivering these services has created a role for an Automation Technology Specialist to join our business to help our clients deploy more advanced solutions to solve their business problems. We run a dedicated proposition that operates in the Finance Transformation / Business Process Excellence space – this is the team we are looking into recruit into in order to help our clients use technology and leading-edge software to optimize their processes and transform their businesses.
The role is located in Singapore, which is where our client-facing consulting team operates from. As an Automation Technology Specialist in our team, you will be responsible for leading and delivering automation implementation projects to solve our clients’ business problems.
In performing this role, you will work with actuarial consultants to understand our clients’ business processes and also enjoy a deep relationship and open communication with WTW’s wider Technology Business, acting as the liaison between the business and software developers.
You will be innovative and have a passion for learning how to utilize your skills in unique business applications, challenging how we think and improving the capabilities of our team, alongside liaising with the Technology Business to provide feedback to improve and deepen our partnership.

The Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or a related field8-10 years of technology experience, of which at least 3-5 years of experience is on the delivery of transformation and automation projects in the insurance / financial services industryAt least 1 year of experience in leading or managing an automation delivery projectPython scripting skills is a must-have and will be assessed as part of the interview process.Strong communication skills and the ability to work alongside non-technical teams. Experience in gathering business requirements and translating them into functional design specificationsExcellent organizational skills and the ability to work with limited supervision Excellent analytical skills and ability to understand business applications and develop innovative technical solutions. Strong problem-solving skills.Ability to deliver simple and innovative solutions to complex problems. Experience with SQL and ODBCExperience with an automation software package (Unify, BluePrism, Automation Anywhere, UiPath, PEGA, PowerAutomate, Alteryx)Ability to work in SingaporeDesirable
