Automation Tester
· 5+ years of experience as an Automation Tester/Engineer (preferably at the enterprise level) with 2 years in full life cycle. implementation, customization, and execution.
· 5+ years of Quick Test Pro (QTP) experience record & playback function, creation and management of object repositories and descriptive programming.
· Must have experience in design and development of NEW custom test automation frameworks using QTP.
· Advanced knowledge of Quality Center API and QTP Automation Object Model.
· Must have strong development skills in VBScript to customize QTP Scripts.
· Must have experience using Business Process Testing (BPT).
· Experience in designing and developing applications using C++/C#/Java.
· Strong working knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, XML, Unix.
· Experience with both front end and backend testing.
· Experience working with Client/Server, Web, and SOA/Web Services technologies.
Key technologies/tools:
· HP QTP, HP Service Test, Selenium.
· Programming (Java, C#), Scripting (Ruby, Python, VBScript), IDE (Eclipse).
· Subversion, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Databases.
· Agile experience
· HP-AIS & ASE (HP UFT – QTP + Service Test) considered a plus.
