Responsibilities:

- Design, develop, and maintain automated tests using Cypress for web applications

- Create and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts

- Identify and report defects, collaborating with developers for resolution

- Develop and maintain test frameworks, libraries, and utilities

- Integrate automated tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.)

- Monitor and optimize test execution performance

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements

- Stay up-to-date with Cypress best practices and new features

Requirements:

Mandatory skill :

- 3 to 9 yrs years of experience in automation testing using Cypress

- Strong JavaScript programming skills

- Experience with Cypress frameworks (Cypress API, Cypress Component Testing)

- Knowledge of testing principles, methodologies, and frameworks

- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies

- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills

- Strong communication and collaboration skills

Preferred skill :

- Experience with other automation testing tools (Selenium, Appium, etc.)

- Knowledge of cloud-based testing platforms (Sauce Labs, BrowserStack, etc.)

- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

- Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, etc.)

- Certification in software testing or quality assurance
