In this role, you will:

Participate in Feasibility Studies and Requirement analysisRecommend process improvements to increase test quality, improve test productivity, and streamline testing /QA processTest Analysis and PlanningPrepare the Test execution planParticipate and give suggestions on clear choice adhering to Group Standards and Guidelines.Understand the requirement and Identifying gaps (Static Testing techniques)Participate in estimation using the HTI guidelinesPrepare and participate in creating Test planning documents as per requirements and within schedule.Execute project specific testing QA activities in accordance to applicable standards and quality parameters.Reviewing test resultsAssist in setting up the right environment for the projectsAssist/Develop base classes/components for the projectDelivery management of entire QA worksteams applying the best test planning standardsManage deliveries within time and of high quality and within budgetManage global IT and business stakeholders.Talent hiring, onboarding and Technical upskilling of team.Create, manage and refine application development and support standards for UI specifc technologies and adoption of those in HSBCExpert in running projects in Agile manner with appropriate toolingEnsuring strict adherence to all regulatory issues and compliance of all internal controls. Implement and comply with Group Compliance Policy and Should deliver considering the operational risk associated with the role.Knowledge Management Ensuring use of best practicesInteraction with Team members Improve ProductivityContinuous awareness and contribution towards technology / application.Contribute to knowledge repositoryGain expertise in one of major technology or application areas within HSBCProvide best practices across the SDLC.Communicate with the relevant project teams regarding resolving technical / application issues related to delivery of projects.Use tools and automation opportunities to increase productivityMentoringInteract with Team Members and specialistsMentor and guide team members and developerscross-functional team member and liaise with other Specialist, Architects.Contribute to development of team membersIdentify and conduct training programsDesign/Architect test automation framework and develop new test automation libraries using suitable Automation tools.Leverage the testing process and tools available to create re-usable components.Implement DevOps Process within Testing area and implement CI/CD Pipelines for Automated test execution.Drive Test Automation across Liquidity profile, increasing test automation coverage.Innovate and apply solutions to increase test coverage using latest tech stack – UI, API, backend.Have core experience in creating test automation strategy for large projects and at portfolio levelAble to drive test automation agenda at GPS and WSIT level. Able to upskill and mentor people on automation journey.Define and publish dashboard highlighting automation achievements.
