What success looks like in this role:
As a Test Automation Lead, you will lead the transformation of testing into a continuous and efficient end-to-end quality engineering function using quality processes, tools, and methodologies significantly improving control, accuracy, and integrity. Your typical day will involve leading the testing team, implementing automation strategies, and driving continuous improvement in quality engineering processes.
Roles & Responsibilities:Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
Responsible for team decisions.
Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
Lead the testing team in implementing automation strategies.
Drive continuous improvement in quality engineering processes.
Develop and maintain test automation frameworks.
Design and execute automated test scripts.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve quality issues.
Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in test automation.
Train and mentor junior team members in test automation techniques.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
Must To Have Skills: 7+ years of proficiency in Test Automation Strategy, Automated Testing, Selenium, Java, Cucumber Framework.
Good To Have Skills: Experience with Agile methodologies.
Strong understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
Experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks.
Should have experience in writing test scripts following either BDD or TDD
Usage of cucumber framework or any other framework which supports BDD
Hands-on experience with Selenium for web application testing.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as Java or Python.
Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
Should have the basic understanding of Jenkins, maven
