The starting base compensation for this position is $54,232 to $$69,200 annually. The base pay range shown is a guideline for compensation and ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.

What our Assistant Managers do:

Supervise and mentor Repair Technicians. Consult with Service Advisors, as needed, to ensure appropriate work is assigned according to Repair Technician’s’ skill level.

Verify that all repairs and maintenance on all vehicles is completed accurately and in a professional manner, and as specified in manufacturer-designed procedures or accepted industry practices.

Supervise and ensure communication between Car Care Center and customer.  Ensure that customer is kept up to date and ensures accuracy of repair permissions, agreements, and expectations and that promised estimates and completion times are met.

Supervise and ensure continuous implementation and adherence to all AAA Car Care policies and procedures.

Verify that all repairs are properly completed by re-testing repaired system to ensure proper function; road test vehicles, as necessary, to identify concerns or validate repair.

Accurately complete paperwork, including, repair information on work orders, and information for state and emission inspections, including waivers and exemptions, etc.

Assist in the hiring and evaluation of Repair Technicians and training and development of Repair Technicians and Service Advisors.

Open and close Car Care store and ensure adequate scheduling of same.

Other duties as assigned.

What you will need to succeed:

High school diploma or equivalent (Associate Degree in Automotive Technology or ASE Certification a plus!)

4 years’ experience in the automotive repair industry.

Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license.

The ability to complete a satisfactory Pre-Employment Screening if offered the position.
