Job Summary

The Automotive Body & Paint Technician Senior will perform automotive body and paint support for programs. The Automotive Body & Paint Technician Senior will mentor and oversee team member's technical deliverables to ensure Roush and customer standards are met.

As an Automotive Body & Paint Technician Senior, you will be responsible for:

Surfacing and painting prototype components and vehiclesTraining, coaching, and mentoring team members related to their job responsibilities and is available as a subject matter expert to assist the team and customersMaintaining vehicle records by entering notes, service, and repair ordersKeeping shop equipment operating by following operating instructions, troubleshooting breakdowns, performing preventive maintenance, calling for repairsParticipating in daily shop organization and clean-ups

To be considered as an Automotive Body & Paint Technician ll, you will need:

High school diploma or equivalentMinimum of 8 years of experience in the auto body fieldExperience with gap and margin with automotive panels and surfacing panelsAbility to operate shop equipmentGood attention to detail and organizational skillsAble to work independently and as part of a teamAble to work overtime and weekendsAbility to read, comprehend and execute written procedures

A successful candidate may also have:

Certificate in Automotive Body Repair or relatedExperience in surfacing panelsExperience in show car painting
