Reporting directly to the R&D Automotive Director - the Automotive BU Product Development Specialist will be responsible for the following activities:
Development and design of cables for automotive applicationsRealization of new products with extended performance profile in accordance with international standards and customer specificationsInitiation, implementation and leading of product development projectsCoordination of all engineering related activities with cross functional teams to ensure technical aspects of the project is executed according to Project timelineProviding documentation and reporting to the R&D management of the BU AutomotiveManagement of the basic article data and design parameters as well as routing in the construction software and in the ERP systemResponsibility for initial sampling and coordination of product testing on new productsCoordination product approvals at customer side (OEMs, Harness maker) Preparation of technical product information and customer presentationsManagement of contacts to customers, suppliers, and internal departments at home and abroadTechnical support to sales, production, and quality departmentWho are we looking for?
We are looking for a candidate with the following key requirements:
