Automotive Maintenance Foreman Transdev in Sayreville, New Jersey is seeking a highlyskilled and experienced Automotive Maintenance Foreman to join our team. The Automotive Maintenance Foreman willbe responsible forsupervising andcoordinating the activities ofourtechnician team, ensuring the timely and efficient diagnosis, maintenance, and repair of vehicles and equipment. The idealcandidatewillhaveastrongtechnicalbackground,excellentleadershipabilities,andapassionfordelivering exceptional service. Transdevisproudto offer: + $30-$32 per hour based on experience. Benefitsinclude: + Medical,dental & vision, life insurance and 401k retirement benefits after 90 calendar days of employment for full-time employees. + Vacation:one week; Sick: 5 days; Holidays: 8 days after one year of employment for full-time employees. + Paid Training + $2,000 Sign-On Bonus\* Key Responsibilities: + Coordinateandprioritizetheworkloadofthetechnicianteam,assigningtasksandensuringthatall work is completed in a timely manner. + Utilizeadvanceddiagnostictoolsandtechniquestoidentifyandtroubleshootcomplexmechanicaland electrical issues in vehicles and equipment. + Manageinventorylevelsofpartsandsupplies,ensuringadequatestocklevelstosupportmaintenanceand repair activities while minimizing waste and excess inventory. + Performpreventivemaintenance,inspections,andrepairsonengines,transmissions,brakes,and other components, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry standards. + Supervise the evening shift while completing repairs. + Work with Operations to ensure proper number of vehicles are ready for pullout each day. + Monitor expenditures versus budget. + Otherdutiesasrequired. Qualifications: + Minimumof4yearsofexperienceasanautomotivetechnician,withdemonstratedproficiencyindiagnosing and repairing automotive engines and related systems. + Strongleadershipandsupervisoryskills,withthe abilitytoeffectivelymanage andmotivatea team. + Abilitytoworkindependentlyandcollaborativelyinafast-pacedenvironment,whilemaintainingahigh level of attention to detail and accuracy. + SubjecttoaDOTdrugtestingandphysicalifapplicable.DOTRegulation49CFRPart40doesnot authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
