Brake Check’s 15-30-45-60 Day Kick Start Program offers a clear trajectory for advancement. Starting with Oil Technician training, team members can progress from Oil Technician to Brake Technician and beyond based on production goals and certification milestones in this expedited Tech-to-Manager Program.

Responsibilities

Operational Duties

Execute preventative maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and basic tire services, with precision and efficiency. Ensure a clean and organized workspace to uphold our store standards. Assist with inventory management and compliance with safety policies. Deliver a “Do It Right” customer experience by adhering to company expectations.

Customer Engagement

Welcome customers with professionalism and warmth. Provide updates to customers and perform follow-up calls to ensure satisfaction.

Team Development

Embrace our career path program by achieving certifications and advancing your skills in all roles. Collaborate with other members of management to achieve store goals.

Qualifications

Required:

Minimum age of 17 years. Legally authorized to work in the United States. Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.

Preferred:

Hands-on automotive repair experience. Familiarity with shop equipment and repair tools. Retail management experience.

Skills & Traits:

Friendly and professional demeanor that fosters trust with customers and team members. Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and goal-driven mindset. Effective verbal and written communication and problem-solving skills. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays in a fast-paced environment.

Physical Demands & Work Environment

Stand and walk on concrete surfaces for extended periods. Lift and carry items 25+ pounds continuously. Bend, stoop, kneel, and twist as required. Operate tools and equipment with manual dexterity. Work in varying weather conditions with moderate to loud noise levels.
