Automotive Parts Counterperson: Robinson Township, PA:
CarShop US-Penske Automotive Group is seeking a hardworking Parts Counterperson who will be the face-to-face representative of the Parts Department to the Service Technicians and Service Managers.
What Will You Do?
The Automotive Parts Counterperson is responsible for the shop sales and maintaining the parts inventory. He/She will search for the best price, order, and distribute the correct part in a timely manner, which has a direct impact on the ability of the Service Technician to complete the service in accordance with the expectations set by the Service Managers. The ideal candidate will maintain the good relationships that CarShop has created with our current vendors, and he/she will seek to expand our vendor base. The Automotive Parts Counterperson will proactively communicate the status of the orders with all affected Service Technicians and Departments.What Skills Do you Bring?
The successful candidate is organized and has an acute attention to detail. Must be able to work on Saturdays. He/She has ample computer skills, and has a working knowledge of Ebay. The Parts Counterperson will have a demonstrated knowledge of automotive parts. The successful candidate will exemplify integrity, strive for self-improvement, and have an open-minded, "can-do" attitude. Must be able to pass pre-employment testing to include background checks, drug testing, and hold a valid driver's license with a good driving history.Culture & Benefits:
