​Here’s what you’ll be doing:

Oversee incoming and outgoing shipping activities to ensure accuracy, completeness, and condition of shipmentsCount, weigh, or measure items on incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, and other recordsDetermine method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and ratesAssemble, pack, and seal containers; create and affix shipping labels with instructions on packed cartons including postageUnpack and examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items, record shortages, and correspond with shipper to rectify damages and shortagesMaintain inventory of shipping materials and suppliesOperate tier-lift truck or use hand truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping-and-receiving platform to storage or work areaReceive unsold, damaged or defective goods returned to establishment and designate appropriatelyStandardize procedures to improve efficiency of subordinates

Here’s what you’ll need:

1 year or more of general inventory experience highly desiredGeneral dealership parts experience is preferredStrong organizational and multi-tasking skillsAbility to work in a fast-paced environmentHigh School diploma or equivalent required
