Job Summary:

The Service Adviser reports directly to the Service Director, with additional responsibilities to work with service and warranty managers. This role is vital to the success of this bustling, nationally-acclaimed and award-winning automotive dealership in Northern New Jersey, working with Ford and Lincoln vehicles, and Ford Trucks. 

The successful candidate must demonstrate an ability to multi-task by handling and processing documents while serving a variety of customers, all within a team-oriented environment.

Job Accountabilities (include but are not limited to):

Overall

Serve as liaison between customers and techniciansClearly communicate all vehicle symptoms as described by customer Determine and recommend needed maintenance based on age, mileage and history of vehicleProvide a complete and accurate estimate of costs for labor and partsMonitor the progress of each vehicle and communicate with customers by providing updates and status throughout the dayProcess repair ordersReview al completed work and charges to customersFollow-up with customers post-service when customers have questions and/or concerns

Education and Training

Maintain required certifications and qualifications as per Ford Motor Company and Maplecrest Ford Lincoln.

Abide by Maplecrest Company Expectations 

Attend service meetings and training sessions, including on-line and/or computer-based self-study courses.Demonstrate behaviors consistent with the Company's Vision, Mission and Values in all interactions with customers, co-workers, vendors and suppliers.Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety standards
