Supervisors are certified technicians, responsible for overseeing teammates and ensuring that all services are performed to Jiffy Lube’s highest standards. In addition to performing Jiffy Lube Signature Oil Change, Supervisors are responsible for routine preventative maintenance, vehicle testing, diagnosis, and repair. Supervisor’s set an example as a leader, focusing on the career development of teammates, and provide consistent guidance and direction. These are our resident experts who ensure quality workmanship to get our guests back on the road. This is an important job in our Jiffy Lube stores and critical to our success. And every J-Team member receives comprehensive training from Jiffy Lube University, our award-winning training program. We even offer Ace Accreditation of up to 32 college credits for completion and certification of Jiffy Lube University courses.

Qualifications

Previous work experience is essential and requires a minimum of 1-year working for a dealership, automotive shop, tire center or quick lube. Simply put, we're lookin for people who can provide exceptional leadership and the ability to inspire a high-performance team.

Supervisors work in a fast-paced specialized service environment responsible for servicing our guests’ vehicles and ensure quality workmanship.

Job duties include, but are not limited to…

Performing Jiffy Lubes Signature Service Oil ChangeInspect and service fluids, filters, headlamps, wipers, tire rotations and other minor services…Flush & fill coolant, transmission, power steering and other vital fluidsOverseeing technicians on the floor to ensure they follow all proceduresMentoring and coaching all store-level teammates and employee developmentHave a positive attitude, strong work ethic, motivated, and a team player

Physical Qualifications

Supervisors must expect to stand for long periods of time on hard surfaces, like concrete or metal, and expect to work in an environment in which you may frequently experience hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, and exhaust fumes.
