Automotive Technician

A well-established automotive service provider is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to support a busy and fast-paced operation. Known for delivering dependable service and quality workmanship, the team handles a broad range of vehicle types and repair needs.

We are looking for someone who is experienced in diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicles with efficiency and accuracy. A minimum of three years of hands-on experience is preferred. The ability to work both independently and as part of a team is essential.

Essential Functions and Duties:

Diagnose and repair vehicle systems, including engine, transmission, brakes, steering, suspension, electrical, air conditioning, etc. Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections Use diagnostic tools and repair software to troubleshoot vehicle issues Communicate clearly with service advisors about repair recommendations and timelines Maintain a clean and organized work area and follow all shop safety procedures Test drive vehicles to confirm repairs Keep up to date with automotive technology and repair techniques

Qualifications:

Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive technician Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently in a high-volume shop Own a basic set of tools (specialty tools provided by shop) Valid driver’s license and clean driving record ASE certification is a plus, but not required
