This role demands expertise in maintaining various vehicles and equipment. As a PMI Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles. Transdev is proud to offer: + Competitive salary of $20-$25 based on experience. + Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage. + Retirement savings plan. + Generous vacation, holiday, and personal time off. + Company-paid ASE testing and training materials + Opportunities for career growth and development Key Responsibilities: + Perform Oil changes: Draining the old oil and filter and replacing it with the manufacturer's specifications. + Perform Fluid checks: Topping off other fluids, such as brake, power steering, and windshield wiper fluid. + Perform Engine inspections: Looking for leaks and other issues in the engine block and underbody. + Inspect Tire pressure: Checking tire pressure and adding air as needed. + Order Parts: Communicates with parts department to obtain needed parts. + Part installation: Installing new parts, such as air filters, oil filters, windshield wipers, and batteries. + Lubrication: Applying lubrication to moving parts, such as those in the engine and wheel bearings + General inspections: Performing general vehicle inspections to determine maintenance and repair needs. + Diagnosing issues: Diagnosing issues and recommending repair work to mechanics + Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor. + Documents all work performed on the repair order. + The ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment. + Keeps shop area neat and clean. Requirements: + 1 year(s) of experience as a PMI Mechanic. + 1 ASE certifications preferred; ASE certification program provided + Mechanic’s Tool Set + Subject to a DOT physical exam and DOT drug testing.
