The Assembly Technician will conduct preassemby preparation, operate production machines, ensure the manufacturing lines have enough product to continue running, complete job quality / production reporting and ensure quality control requirements. 

 

 

Responsibilities

 

Conduct pre-assembly/project preparationReview parts modificationsCompare scanned images to drawings to verify parts issuesOperate a variety of equipment and tools to assemble mechanical and/or vehicle components in assigned areasFill vehicle systems with required fluids/coolants/oil and conducting test drives to confirm vehicle operation/safetyPerform special modifications to existing vehicles per assigned work requestsInspecting/testing parts to confirm quality/operation and interfacing with design engineers to verify technical data and review final assembly Qualifications

 

Competent use of equipment/machinery/software required to perform jobThorough understanding of manufacturing processes related to vehicle assemblyAbility to read and interpret drawingsAbility to learn, understand and apply new technologiesPossess decision-making, problem solving and detail-oriented skillsExcellent analytical, prioritization, decision-making and judgment skillsExcellent presentation, communication, interpersonal and team building skillsKnowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point) and CatiaPossess a High School Diploma or equivalent
