Overview The Assembly Technician will conduct preassemby preparation, operate production machines, ensure the manufacturing lines have enough product to continue running, complete job quality / production reporting and ensure quality control requirements. Responsibilities + Conduct pre-assembly/project preparation + Review parts modifications + Compare scanned images to drawings to verify parts issues + Operate a variety of equipment and tools to assemble mechanical and/or vehicle components in assigned areas + Fill vehicle systems with required fluids/coolants/oil and conducting test drives to confirm vehicle operation/safety + Perform special modifications to existing vehicles per assigned work requests + Inspecting/testing parts to confirm quality/operation and interfacing with design engineers to verify technical data and review final assembly Qualifications + Competent use of equipment/machinery/software required to perform job + Thorough understanding of manufacturing processes related to vehicle assembly + Ability to read and interpret drawings + Ability to learn, understand and apply new technologies + Possess decision-making, problem solving and detail-oriented skills + Excellent analytical, prioritization, decision-making and judgment skills + Excellent presentation, communication, interpersonal and team building skills + Knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Power Point) and Catia + Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent PHYSICAL DEMANDS + frequently bend, reach, lift and stand + Ability to lift up to 50lbs What We Offer: Competitive pay & benefits!
