Position: Automotive Technician/Mechanic

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Compensation: Between $40,000 and $125,000 Annually (Based on knowledge, experience, store franchise, and volume)

Schedule: Full Time

Automotive Technician/Mechanic Job Duties and qualifications:

Performs work outlined on repair orders with efficiency/accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standardsDiagnoses cause of most malfunctions and performs repairExamines assigned vehicle to determine if further safety or service work is required or recommendedCommunicates and works effectively with the parts department to obtain needed partsConveys with the service advisor if additional work is needed or recommendedAccurately documents all work performed and recommended on the repair orderRoad tests vehicles when requiredRetains thorough knowledge and understanding of all information provided on manufacturer technical bulletinsEnsures that the customer’s car is kept cleanMaintain a clean work areaOperates all tools and equipment in a safe manner
Must have basic tools
Must have valid NYS Inspectors License
