Autonomous Equipment Technician (AGV)

Position Summary

This position is to maintain all autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicles and controls.

Role and Responsibilities

- Responsible for inspection, repair, and diagnostic of autonomous and semi-autonomous vehicles.
- Perform work specified by leadership and engineers to include preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Document required maintenance records into provided systems.
- Continuously learn new technical information and repair techniques through training from HQ and engineers.
- Supports leadership decisions and contributes to team success.
- Supports the deployment of AGV systems and commissions the equipment.
- Ensure daily housekeeping is upheld.
- All other duties as assigned.

Skills and Qualifications

• Education:  High School Diploma / GED required. Certification in Mechatronics or Automotive Technology preferred. A technical Associate's Degree preferred.
• Experience:  1+ year manufacturing experience required.
• Knowledge:  Ability to evaluate / diagnose a situation and improve or repair the equipment. Working knowledge of shop equipment such RFID tag readers, diagnostic equipment, and AGV systems.
• Skills:  Forklift and Tugger certification.  Team oriented, flexible and focused on equipment up time. Display effective communication skills.
• Physical requirement:  All employees for all positions must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 35 lbs.
