Reporting to the Project Leader, the Autonomous Haulage System (AHS) Supervisor will oversee our Installation Retro fit operations.
Your primary objective will be providing leadership and supervision for all labour and contract resources, managing day-to-day functions of safe and efficient Retro fitting of the Autonomy layer to the Liebherr T264 fleet, ensuring safe systems of work are employed and cost effective to minimising downtime.
This role is a full-time permanent position working on an 8:6 - 7:7 days / night roster.
Responsibilities Include Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the workshop team Manage and direct compliance with Liebherr Safety & HSEQT legislative requirements Manage our team of HD Fitters, Auto Electricians, Boilermakers and Trade Assistants Schedule and prioritise commissioning of AHS assets Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement for parts and supplies. Conduct inspections and QA/QC checks on completed work. Mentor and motivate workshop staff to maximise productivity and performance. Report any build / quality issues as they arise. Collaborate with other departments to optimise fleet movements Complete daily handovers and progress reports What is required?Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience demonstrated in a similar role with success in leadership, coordinating multiple trades and building relationships. With experience in coordinating AHS installations operations in mining environments.
Other key skills, experience, and qualifications:
Experience in supervising a team within HME haulage or transportation industry. Desirable, experience within an AHS mining environment. Australian Recognised Trade Qualification in Mechanical or Electrical Current Section 26 Strong technical knowledge of Electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and AHS diagnostics. Leadership and management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team Ability to work under pressure and solve problems efficiently Exposure to a Fleet Maintenance software is highly desirable
