Under general supervision, the Autotransfusionist/cell-saver technician is responsible for performing blood recovery procedure, and for the maintenance of autotransfusion and perfusion equipment.
Supports anesthesiologists, anesthesia residents and CRNA’s (Anesthesia Care Team) and surgical team by the preparation and set up of appropriate equipment and supplies for autotransfusion in the Operating rooms (OR’s) and satellite areas. Fulfillment of the job duties requires the employee to have access to medication storage areas and medication transport on behalf of the Anesthesia Care and Surgical Teams.

QualificationsEducation and Experience
