About the role:

As an Equipment Engineering Intern you will report to the Manager of Auxiliary Equipment and Valve Engineering for Plant Mechanical Engineering & Issue Resolution.

 

You'll work a hybrid scenario based in Westinghouse Global Headquarters in Cranberry Woods, PA. This is a paid internship that starts in May 2025.

 

Your Day-to-Day:

Working with experienced equipment engineers to provide design and/or analysis for nuclear power plant equipment such as valves, heat exchangers, tanks, etc. Interfacing with customers, vendors, and other internal functional groups on engineering level to obtain information necessary to perform work assignments Planning and scheduling work to meet assignment requirements

Qualifications:

Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering Minimum GPA of 3.0 strongly preferred. Completion of Sophomore year of college by May 2025 Must be able to work a minimum of 8 weeks; 10 plus weeks preferred. US Citizen or Permanent Resident
